Topic: You Think You Know Buddhism? Think Again: Challenging Some Popular Ideas About Buddhism.

Our speaker, Dominick Scarangello, obtained a PhD from the University of Virginia in 2012. He has taught at several universities and worked on important translations. His interests include Lotus Sutra Buddhism in East Asia, Japanese religions, and religion and modernity.  Scarangello is presently the International Advisor to Rissho Koseikai and  coordinator of the International Lotus Sutra Seminar.
